Rabiot has since moved on to Marseille, while Pogba is a free agent after seeing his contract in Turin terminated. He will be cleared to resume his career in March 2025, with Rabiot telling of a potential reunion in Ligue 1: “I would like to play with Paul. We had the opportunity to rub shoulders quickly at Juventus. We didn't have too many opportunities to play together because he had a lot of problems. I was very disappointed.”
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Rabiot went on to say of Marseille being ready to welcome Pogba on board as a collective, with a big future call being left in the 31-year-old midfielder’s hands: “We are inviting him to come and play at OM. What we are putting in place is really very important. There is a real dynamic, it is very professional, from the players to the coach and the management. There is real ambition. If he wants to come, it would be a pleasure.”
